Real-Life Simmba! Rohit Shetty Offers 8 Hotels For Cops On COVID-19 Duty, Mumbai Police Thanks Him
The coronavirus pandemic has taken a toll across the world. While people have been asked to stay at homes, there are policemen and health workers who are stepping out every day to protect us. Director Rohit Shetty has facilitated eight hotels for policemen on COVID-19 duty. The Mumbai Police thanked the filmmaker for his kind gesture on their official Twitter handle.
Mumbai police tweeted, "#RohitShetty has facilitated eight hotels across the city for our on-duty #CovidWarriors to rest, shower & change with arrangements for breakfast & dinner. We thank him for this kind gesture and for helping us in #TakingOnCorona and keeping Mumbai safe."

Earlier, he donated Rs 51 lakh to the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) to support daily wage workers from the film fraternity.
Rohit's film Sooryavanshi, featuring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif was postponed amid corona outbreak.
